NO-SHOW & LATE CANCELLATION POLICY
I understand that unplanned events can sometimes cause scheduling conflicts and if so, contact me as soon as possible. However, missed appointments and late cancellations have a significant impact on my practice and the availability of appointments for other clients in need of massage.
I require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments.
Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a fee of 50% of the session price.
No-shows will be charged the full session price.
I reserve the right to charge a fee for any missed appointments.
Clients who have a pattern of missed appointments or late cancellations will not be tolerated and future services will be denied. Each missed appointment or late cancellation is a lost opportunity, preventing another person from receiving care. If you take the time to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance, any fully prepaid sessions can be returned to your account as credit. If you know someone who is able to come fill your appointment time in case you cannot make it for your massage, contact me about who will be your replacement.
If you come late over 20 minutes past your appointed time, you will still be responsible for the total value of your total session. Some bodywork can still be done in the limited time available, but you will miss out on the rest of the full breadth of bodywork. I kindly ask that you respect my time and schedule, and I will do the same.
PAYMENT POLICY - ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT
I accept credit, debit, HSA cards, cash, and personal checks. Mobile payment services are also acceptable. A debit or credit card is required to book any service online. This process guarantees your appointment session date and time and also lets me know you are serious about your appointment.
NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
I believe that everyone deserves to feel comfortable and respected while receiving massage therapy, regardless of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic. Reasonable accommodations for clients with disabilities can be made as needed.
I am committed to treating all clients with respect, empathy, and compassion. I believe that massage therapy should be accessible to everyone, and I will work to ensure that my services are inclusive and welcoming to all. You are safe and welcome on my table.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT POLICY
Any form of sexual harassment or misconduct will not be tolerated. This can include but is not limited to:
Inappropriate comments or jokes
Physical touch or gestures
Inappropriate text messages or emails
Intimidation or coercion
All services provided are strictly therapeutic. Reporting to the proper authorities may ensue based on how severe the misconduct is. The relationship between therapist and client is at all times professional. These matters are taken seriously and I am committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for all clients and myself as a therapist & medical provider.
PRIVACY, CONFIDENTIALITY, HIPAA POLICY
Your medical and personal information are kept confidential and secure. Your name, email, and telephone is used only to identify you and contact you about the appointments and services you’ve booked with me, or communicate with you about any updates. Your contact information or any other personal or health information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or other purposes without your consent.
Information discussed during the massage session is kept confidential and will not be shared with any third party without the client's written consent, except as required by law.
I comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the protection of personal and health information, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). I will only collect, use, and disclose personal and health information as necessary to provide you effective massage therapy services and as permitted by law. I will not share any personal or health information with third parties without the client's written consent, except as required by law.
I encourage you to be aware of your own rights and responsibilities regarding your personal and health information, and to bring any concerns or questions to my attention. I am committed to protecting your rights to privacy, confidentiality and security.
