Your massage will take place in my comfortable and quiet treatment room. Gentle music will be played to create a relaxing atmosphere. The massage table will be designed for your comfort with a table warmer. I will first discuss with you about your medical history and any areas of concern listed on your intake form. During the session, you can always communicate with me of any requests or concerns.

Most massage techniques are traditionally done with the client unclothed; however, you should undress to your level of comfort. The more undressed you are, the more effective the bodywork can be. All bodywork is done on undraped areas, or over the drape/clothing.
After undressing, lay on the table underneath the top sheet and blanket. Let me know about any concerns. I will wait outside while you undress/dress.
-
Make yourself comfortable on the table. Breathe slowly, center yourself, and prepare to receive bodywork. You can close your eyes and let your muscles relax, being passive. At times, I may gently move your limbs or tell you what to do at times (like raising your arm). Maintain open communication with me to provide feedback about pressure or techniques.

A full-body session will include bodywork on your back, shoulders, arms, glutes, legs, feet, hands, head, and neck, unless you say otherwise. A therapeutic session will focus on targeted areas that are causing you pain or discomfort.

Yes. That’s why it is important to let me know of any health problems or medications you are taking. It is for this reason why you should fill out the intake form completely before you arrive.
If you are seeing a doctor for your care, it is strongly advised to have a written recommendation for massage from your doctor before the session. Depending on the condition, approval from your doctor may be required.

Tipping can be done, but is not expected. If you do wish to tip, cash tips is the most common method. You also can add on a tip on your payment total with a credit card.
If you are paying with a HSA card, do not tip as it is for health benefits use.
